COVID-19 Updates

Update as of June 1st...

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH MY ORDER?
During this time we are continuing to fulfill orders but our fulfillment times are still longer than usual and may continue to increase until things get back to normal. We're trying our best to bring down these longer than normal fulfillment times, but the safety of our employees is our utmost concern. The entire industry is grappling with challenges and we're also seeing delays in our supply chain, including distributors and shipping carriers. Our current order fulfillment time is 22-27 business days.

Keep in mind that with longer fulfillment and shipping times, orders might not make it on time for occasions like Father's Day, but we're trying our best.

ARE THERE ANY SHIPPING DELAYS?
You can continue to expect shipping delays worldwide. It's hard to give specific estimates because not all carriers update detailed data, and not all orders have tracking. As of now, we've observed that US domestic orders may take up to an additional 5 days on top of the estimated delivery time. Orders from the US to Canada can take an additional 7 days and we are estimating an extra 10 business days to Europe, 10 business days to Australia/NZ and 15 business days worldwide. Keep in mind that countries are limiting passenger flights and while e this doesn't directly impact cargo, fewer passenger flights mean fewer transit options for shipments and longer lines at borders.
We're also disabling Express and Overnight shipping methods for domestic and international orders as our carriers can't guarantee fast delivery.
We're in touch with our carriers and they'll notify us of any more disruptions.

ARE THERE ANY COUNTRIES YOU DON'T SHIP TO BECAUSE OF COVID-19?
At this time, we don't ship to the following countries: Algeria, American Samoa, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Benin, Bolivia, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cayman Islands, Chad, Cook Islands, Cuba, Curacao, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Faroe Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guinea Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Iraq, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Nepal, New Caledonia, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, St Martin, Sudan, Suriname, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turks and Caicos Islands, Uruguay, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

We're hopeful this is temporary and once our carriers let us know when service will resume, those locations will be updated.

Our warehouse and fulfillment teams are doing their very best to help support our business, but the health and safety of the entire Shop BuzzFeed team is our utmost concern. We have implemented company-wide work from home policies and everybody who can has been working from home for the past few weeks.

Here's what our partners are doing to keep fulfillment teams safe:

  • They're staggering shifts and maintaining a 6-foot distance between each station
  • They set up partitions at tables in break rooms
  • They are distributing PPE such as safety masks and gloves to all employees
  • They have also set up an on-site wellness clinic with health consultations available 24/7 over the phone

We fully support the safety measures our partners have to make in order to get through this difficult time. We are all committed to keeping all our teams safe and we'll continue to follow guidelines from the CDC, WHO, US Department of State, and local governments and health agencies.

If you have any additional questions, we're always here for you. Please reach out to us at shop@buzzfeed.com.
